Bridget's Light

Last weekend we had the pleasure of visiting beautiful Bridget and her family. It wasn't the first time we had met in person. They stopped by our tent at the Buddy Walk this year (pictures taken by Melissa). It was, however, the first chance we had to sit, talk and get to know everyone a little better. We had a wonderful visit. The kids played very well together and mine didn't want to leave when it came time. To read a little more about it and see a couple more pictures, check out Lisa's post. Oh, I can't forget to mention that I received a copy of Gifts 2, signed by Lisa (author of Bridget's Light on page 86)! Thank you so much! I am loving it!

Kaylee's Birthday Party

We ended the month of October with Kaylee's birthday party. It was a combination of family, friends and a few of Kaylee's classmates. Everyone had a wonderful time!
Happy Birthday Kaylee!
I used the Big Shot to make the goodie bags. Only Joan, a dental hygienist, would put toothbrushes in them!

Alexa's Birthday Party

We went to a rockin' birthday party for our friend, Alexa. Since it was close to Halloween, the kids dressed in costumes. Greg went as Batman and Leah went as a doctor (which Greg wore his first Halloween when he was 10 months old).A Few Highlights
  • cotton candy and snow cone machines
  • pumpkins to paint
  • an awesome face painting/balloon guy
Happy Birthday Alexa!

Last Booty Call

We spent our last night pillaging the village with the Hinze family. The kids were super cute and enjoyed walking around the neighborhood together. Aye, good memories.
